Darien has been selected as the first location for a new business that, according to the International Décor Outlet (IDO) CEO Warren Hickernell, will eventually be located in 50 cities across North America. Future planned sites include Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, D.C., New Orleans and Miami. The IDO plans to have 50+ stores opened by early 2016 and eventually expanding to approximately 80 stores within the year.
The Darien Outlet Mall could soon have new business. It was announced late last week that a Jacksonville-based home décor and home improvement provider is eyeing the space to showcase products to an international market.
